Ajax Hub 2 Plus White – hub with four communication channels and photo verification
Ajax Hub 2 Plus is the central unit of an Ajax security system and acts as the hub connecting detectors, cameras, sirens and automation devices. Support for Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two micro-SIM cards for 2G, 3G and 4G LTE provides four independent communication channels. This delivers high operational reliability and helps ensure that alarms and events reach users and the alarm receiving centre.
Hub 2 Plus supports up to 200 wireless Ajax devices and up to 100 IP cameras or recording devices. In addition to Jeweller radio for alarms and commands, the Wings radio protocol transfers images from Ajax detectors with a camera, providing photo verification directly in the app.

Four connection paths for maximum reliability
Hub 2 Plus can communicate through several independent connections simultaneously.

If one connection fails, the system switches to the next available communication path.
Photo verification during an alarm
Hub 2 Plus supports Ajax detectors with a built-in camera. Images are transferred through Wings, a separate radio protocol from Jeweller, ensuring that image traffic does not compete with alarm communication.
This provides:
- Series of 1 to 5 images
- Resolution up to 640 × 480 pixels
- Delivery time up to 9 seconds
- Wings range up to 1,700 metres in open space
This makes it possible to determine quickly whether an alarm is genuine or false.
Surveillance-camera integration
In addition to Ajax camera detectors, Hub 2 Plus can display video from a wide range of IP cameras and recording systems directly in the Ajax app.

Smart scenarios and automation
Built-in automation functions allow the Ajax system to be used for more than traditional intruder alarms. Up to 64 scenarios can be configured.

Long range with Jeweller
Ajax uses encrypted Jeweller radio technology for communication between the hub and connected products. Communication is two-way and uses frequency hopping to resist interference, together with block encryption and a dynamic key.

Its main strength is the combination of four communication channels and high device capacity. For a smaller apartment or holiday home without photo verification and without a need for more than 100 devices, a simpler Ajax hub is more cost-effective. The IP20 enclosure means the hub must always be installed indoors in a dry environment.
