Ajax KeyPad White – wireless keypad with capacitive touch buttons

Ajax KeyPad Jeweller is a wireless keypad with capacitive touch buttons for arming and disarming an Ajax alarm system directly on site without a phone or computer. The panel supports up to 200 personal codes plus one shared keypad code, as well as duress codes and up to 99 codes for people who are not registered in the system.

Communication uses encrypted Ajax Jeweller radio with a range of up to 1,700 metres in open space. The keypad is ACE type B under EN 50131 and complies with security grade 2.

Codes and permissions

KeyPad Jeweller supports several types of codes, allowing individual users to be identified in the event log.

The duress code is particularly useful in shops and businesses where a forced disarming must be reported without alerting the perpetrator.

Good to know

• KeyPad Jeweller is intended for indoor use. The approved operating range is −10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%.
• The keypad does not have a built-in siren. Choose a model with a built-in siren if both functions are required in one device.
• The keypad does not read tags or cards. A model supporting Pass or Tag is required for contactless identification.
• The total number of users is limited by the hub: up to 50 users with Hub 2 and up to 200 users with Hub 2 Plus.

Its principal strength is the management of personal and duress codes. Other Ajax keypads are better suited when a built-in siren or contactless tags are required. Note that the battery life of up to 2 years is shorter than that of Ajax detectors because the touch panel consumes more power.
