PC & HiFi Örebro recommends
We recommend the DT 990 PRO 80 Ohm when you want an open-back studio headphone that works well with both an audio interface and an ordinary computer or amplifier output. The open design provides the spaciousness and detail that make mixing easier, but it also allows sound to pass both in and out. A closed model such as the DT 770 PRO is therefore a better choice when recording with a microphone in the same room, working in an open-plan office or listening in noisy surroundings. The 250-ohm version is an alternative for a fixed studio setup with a powerful headphone amplifier. The ear pads and headband padding are replaceable, allowing the headphones to be refreshed instead of replaced.
