Delock 89297 – PCI Express x1 card with 4 × USB Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps)
The Delock 89297 is an expansion card that adds four USB Type-A ports to a desktop computer through an available PCI Express slot. The ports support SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps, also known as USB 3.2 Gen 1, and are suitable for external hard drives, SSD enclosures, USB flash drives, card readers, printers, docking stations and other peripherals.
The card installs in a PCI Express x1 v2.0 slot and receives power through a separate SATA power connector from the PSU. This provides stable power when several demanding USB devices are used at the same time.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 refer to the same underlying technology under different names. The stated 5 Gbps is the maximum raw interface speed; real file-transfer performance is limited by the connected device.
Before buying
- The computer needs an available PCI Express x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot.
- The power supply must have an available SATA power connector; the card does not operate without it.
- The card is designed for desktop computers and does not fit laptops.
- Check that the case has room for a full-height card in the selected slot.
