Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra is a compact and affordable security gateway that combines router, firewall, VPN server and UniFi Network Controller in a single device. It is designed for small businesses, shops, offices and advanced home networks that want professional UniFi functionality without the cost of a larger rack-mounted solution.
Despite its compact format, UCG-Ultra contains the same processor and amount of memory as the larger UCG-Max, providing good performance for network operation, VPN and security features.

UCG-Ultra acts as the central controller for UniFi Network and manages the entire network environment directly on the device – with support for VLANs, guest networks, VPN, traffic monitoring, firewall rules and Site-to-Site VPN. The gateway is intended for network management and does not run UniFi Protect, Access or Talk.
