Hilti HUD Universal Wall Plug – For concrete, brick, aerated concrete and drywall
The Hilti HUD range consists of professional universal wall plugs developed for secure fastening in a wide variety of building materials. The range includes HUD-2 in 5 × 25 mm, 6 × 30 mm and 8 × 40 mm, as well as HUD-1 in 10 × 50 mm. The plugs are designed for high strength, easy installation and reliable fastening of TV brackets, network equipment, cable trunking, electrical installations, fittings and other wall-mounted equipment.
Thanks to their intelligent expansion design, HUD plugs work in solid concrete and brick as well as aerated concrete, hollow brick and plasterboard. The wide collar prevents the plug from being pushed too far into the wall, while the anti-rotation design helps it remain firmly in place during installation.

Stable fastening with anti-rotation design
The HUD plugs have an expanding body with internal guides and external locking fins that reduce the risk of rotation while the screw is driven in. The wide stop collar also ensures the correct installation depth and provides stable fastening even in porous materials.
Good to know
The HUD range is intended for wall and floor installation in accordance with Hilti's installation instructions. It is not intended for ceiling or facade mounting unless supported by separate documentation or another approved fastening method. Always follow Hilti's current technical documentation for safety-critical installations.

For heavier TV brackets and consoles, we recommend HUD-2 8 × 40 mm or HUD-1 10 × 50 mm. For high loads in double plasterboard or other hollow constructions, a dedicated hollow-wall anchor can be the safer option.
